Welcome to our “Keeping Kids Safe” training site. At Uniontown Bible Church (UBC) the safety of our children is a top priority. We are sure you feel the same way. In fact we take it a step further at UBC, we want everyone to be “Keeping Kids Safe”.We feel the more who are aware of safety for our children – the safer they will be.
Volunteers make ministry happen and that is why you are here now. Without caring men and women using their gifts to serve others, church ministries simply would not exist. We thank God for you and the unique contribution you make through the time you commit, the position you fill, the gifts you exercise, and the love you share. You play a vital role in the church’s ministry to young people. God bless you as you make disciples and bring up the next generation to know, love and serve the Lord Jesus.
May the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, equip you with everything good for doing his will . . . Hebrews 13:20
How do you know if you need the training? Someone most likely has already talked to you about training if it is required for you to serve. However, if you want to know more about it and do it on your own, great! The training will take about an hour of your time from beginning to end and is done yearly. That’s it! One hour once a year and you are “Keeping Kids Safe!”
